It had a vacation feel to it as I walked onto the balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped swimming pool area. For me a fireplace and balcony were absolutely necessary. Adding hardwood floors to the bedrooms and crown molding to the unit made it just right! The gym and functions rooms are a big plus and have served me so well! I became very involved serving on several committees, including the gym renovation, which is now one of the best gyms in the area! Since 2006, the area has flourished in so many wonderful ways, now offering a variety of restaurants, dog parks, movie theaters, etc. The addition of Halstead Square and the Mosaic District, not to mention the conveniences of and at the Dunn Loring metro, have been invaluable. The opening of Harris Teeter a few years ago was a major convenience! Congratulations to the new owners, and may you make many fine memories as I have!
